With the view to extending the global reach of StartmeupHK initiative, Invest Hong Kong, with support from its overseas offices, will organise a series of half day virtual StartmeupHK Salon events to target local startup communities.
Six overseas Salon events will be held in key markets (North America, S. America, Europe, Middle East & India, ASEAN and the Greater Bay Area) in 2021. Among the six Salons, four of them - North America, Europe, ASEAN and Greater Bay Area will be held between April and May, leading up to the StartmeupHK Festival 2021 in Hong Kong on the 24-28 May. The remaining two overseas salon events in South America and Middle East & India will be held in the second half of 2021 to maintain the momentum created.
